About Anderson & Gilbert

Arlene D. Anderson, EA - President

Arlene is president and founder of Anderson & Gilbert. She brings with her over 28 years of accounting and tax preparation experience.

In 1980, she went to work for H&R Block where she served as office manager, tax preparer and income tax course instructor. In 1984, she ventured out on her own to start her business in Keene, NH.

Since then, Arlene has watched her business grow into one of the most successful independent accounting offices in the Monadnock Region.

Arlene holds a Bachelor of Education in Math from Keene State College. An Enrolled Agent (EA) since 1993, she is a member of NATP and specializes in accounting for churches and ministers. Arlene lives in Keene with her husband, Bryant.

Susan L. Gilbert, CPA - Vice President

Susan has more than 15 years experience in accounting. She is the treasurer on a local non-profit board of directors and provides tax and accounting services to a multitude of individuals and organizations in the community.

Prior to joining Anderson & Gilbert in 2000, Susan was the Controller for Resonetics and Circuitest, both high-tech manufacturers. She also worked as staff accountant and supervisor for Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) specializing in high-tech manufacturing, financial aid, and mortgage banking audits.

Susan holds a BS in Accountancy and an Associate of Science in Management from Bentley College. A CPA since 1990, Susan is a member of AICPA and a Notary Public. She lives in Keene with her husband.

Sarah E. Neutra, CPA

Sarah comes to Anderson & Gilbert, Inc. with three years experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in Boston. She has a BA from the University of Vermont and an MBA from Boston College.
